Meet Kristen

I’m Kristen Graham. Artist, designer, and the creative force behind Kristen’s Creative Arts. My studio is where watercolor, illustration, and graphic design meet to tell stories that stick with you.

My path here wasn’t exactly a straight line. I started out studying animation and video games, then spent the next 18+ years as a graphic designer, helping businesses build brands people remember — through logos, marketing materials, and custom apparel.

Then, in May 2020, I picked up a paintbrush almost on a whim. That small creative outlet turned into a full-blown passion, and today watercolor is at the heart of what I do. I paint custom commissions — homes, pets, florals, and the small everyday moments worth capturing — in vivid, detailed brushstrokes. These pieces have become favorite keepsakes, thoughtful gifts, and cherished real estate closing presents.

I’m also a children’s book illustrator, bringing characters to life with expressive faces and soft, playful palettes that make stories feel warm and inviting.

Whatever the project, a beloved family home, a new brand, a picture book waiting to be illustrated, I bring the same care and intention to every piece I create.
